2024 TS6 Black 40g
The 2024 TS6 Black 40g from Swix is a high-performance glider for competition, designed to excel in dirty snow and dry friction conditions. It is particularly effective in temperatures ranging from -6°C to -12°C (21°F to 10°F).
As the second hardest wax in the TSB series, the TS6 Black 40g is a highly versatile choice for typical winter conditions, suitable for both alpine and cross country skiing. It is a favorite among servicemen due to its durability and effectiveness on dirty snow, achieved through the addition of a black solid lubricant that also reduces friction in very cold snow.
Despite being a wax intended for cold conditions, its melting point allows for easier application than many competitors in this category, without sacrificing its exceptional glide properties. The TS6 Black 40g can be used as a standalone race wax, but it is often utilized as a base for top coats.
For optimal results, a recommended iron temperature of 155°C (311°F) is suggested for application.
