Going On Now—up to 50% off on 2024 and past seasons in Ski & Snowboard Gear

At Ski Haus, Tunings include Base Repair, Edgework & Waxing.
In general, it’s recommended that you get a tune-up every 20 days of use. If you’re handling harsher terrains, like icy or hard-packed conditions, more frequent tuning is recommended than those who stick to the pristine powder. Manage rust, scrapes, scaling, grooves, abrasions and burrs which create dull edges and bases—resulting in less-than safe or a satisfying ride.
Frequently check the base and edges of your equipment for any wear—and especially tear. Any major holes, gouges or gashes should be repaired before your next ride, especially if you can view the core of the ski or snowboard.
At the very least, have your gear tuned at the end of each season, so you’re ready for the beginning of the next.
